We are here!

We woke up at 4am.
It was finally the time to leave.
Everything was ready already the evening before.
With our five 50 pounds luggage and our carry on we were on our way:-)

This picture was taken just before leaving at the airport.

At the airport in Montreal waiting for the next flight.
Arrived at destination around 3pm!
We will stay at this motel tonight in Haiti.
(I will post more pictures of our driving from the airport to the Hotel later.)
Blessings,

Keila

Oh yes, I'm counting the days!

''When a children gives you a gift,
even if it`s just a rock they just picked up,
it shows gratitude.
It might be the only thing they have to give,
and they have chosen to give it to you.''

My heart will remain...

''Packing for some two days vacation trips is quite an easy thing to do,
but packing compact and under a certain amount of pounds is quite another thing!''
My parents and I will be leaving shortly for Haiti!
My mom and I will be helping in an orphanage
and a school while my dad will teach some students at the Sgt. Mark Gallagher School.

It is a real blessing and joy for me to finally do one of my ''long-time'' dream..
and I'm sure it will not be my last trip:-)

I'll see poverty. I'll see orphans.
I'll see some children whom their dream would be to have a friend.
They need somebody. That's you and I.
I really have all those people in my heart...
I believe that every child has a special goal on this earth. Why not let them have a chance?
They'll all need to hear this little phrase whispered in their ears: ''I love you!''

Your prayers would be greatly appreciated during my stay there!
{Prayer is the greatest ''wireless connection of them all!''}

 Blessings,
Keila

.:My journey to Haiti:.

This is my journey.
This is my life.
Heading to an unknown place to see cute little faces.

Orphans are easier to ignore
before you know their names,
see their faces,
 hold them in your arms.

But once you do...everything changes.
